October 2022 Project Update
Before we started work on the driving range back in March it was three tiered, sloping, and one could not even see where the balls landed!! Altogether it was a very uninviting experience. After moving a huge amount of dirt/sand to level the driving range we then finally finished the grading of the driving range and installing new irrigation back in late April May
After finishing grading.....
We then sprigged and sodded the driving range with paspalum grass, and after 5 months of intensive watering, fertilizing, care and grow-in, the driving range now looks like this.

As you can see we placed different colored targets out on the range at various distances. These colors contrast so very nicely with the beautiful green paspalum grass. The great part about paspalum is that it will never go dormant and will remain green all year around!

Next steps from here will be starting on the construction of the driving range teeing ground & structure, the outdoor patio of the restaurant and surrounding landscaping as shown in the pictures below.
In closing; as good as all the rain has been for the grow-in of the driving range, the hurricane has played further havoc with our construction schedule delaying materials and contractors once again. We are now hoping to be finished with the driving range structure, outdoor patio and landscaping by end November. We are, however, dependent upon when concrete can be poured, on electrical contractor availability, and the approaching holidays. Needless to say we are making real progress and the final product as evidenced by the beautiful green driving range pictures above show all of this will be well worth waiting for! As always, we will continue to keep you updated at ClermontNational.com!
